Father time sucks. If you find yourself in your 40s, 50s, 60s, or even older, you've probably heard this before. You feel it when you wake up in the morning; you never thought simply getting out of bed would become such an ordeal. You feel it when you have aches and pains all over your body, and you don't even know where they came from. You feel it when you suddenly can't read, and now have to rely on those pesky reading glasses your grandfather used to wear. You find yourself constantly asking: "I am not really that old, am I?" At Seigler's Karate Center (SKC), we encourage everyone to stay fit at whatever stage they find themselves in. Especially if you're in your 40s, 50s, or 60s, I encourage you to try our phenomenal Brazilian Jiu-jitsu program, which I believe would be the right fit for your fitness goals. It's the art of grappling and submissions, of choking people out and defending yourself on the ground. It has become unique to the Martial Arts Industry and the Mixed Martial Arts world. Knock off a little bit of that age with the training you can get here at SKC. Cheat father time by getting back in shape. By Tommy Seigler
Maybe you've been inactive in your life. Maybe you've been in sports when you were younger and just got out of the habit when adulting took precedence. Maybe you just did not know exercise was an option. There are myriads of reasons. I get it. You've grown up, you've gotten a job, you have a career, you have a family … you have done everything to be a good provider and a good husband. Somewhere along the road, however, you have left yourself out. The reality is, you owe it to yourself and to your family to keep yourself in shape. You're going to want to be there to see those kids go off to college. You're going to want to be there to take your beautiful wife to the Bahamas. You're gonna want to walk your daughter down the aisle. You're going to want to play with your grandchildren at the park.
